By MikeFirst and foremost, ***BE ON TIME***
- You would call if you were late for a job interview right? Please think of your photo shoot in the same manner. You have a 15 minute grace period.
Shoot discussions and plans can be made, however, no shoot will be booked until your non-refundable deposit has been received.
CLOTHING DESIGNERS et al.
- Please be selective with the men/women you choose for a photo shoot. Not everyone is meant to be in front of a camera.
- Ideas/concepts/locations for your shoot, should be discussed and planned in advance.
CLOTHING
Ladies: Wear flesh colored or black underwear, please leave the neon colors at home. Also bring different shoes, and accessories (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, sunglasses; etc).
Gents: Please groom yourselves. Whether it is shaving or cleaning dirty fingernails, etc., the camera picks up everything.
***Iron and alter your clothes before the shoot. Use hangers and garment bags, a rolling trunk/suitcase rather than a duffel bag, trust me it helps, and bring a portable steamer if available. If you seriously have to iron/alter on your arrival, I don’t have time for it.***
HAIR & MAKEUP
- Makeup Artist (MUA): If you work with one or have a “Glam Squad”, please make sure they are present before (preferred) and ready to go or arrive at the same time as the model(s) so hair and makeup can be done. If he/she is late, the shoot is delayed until his/her arrival, and you’ll incur a fee for overage time.
- Bring your own combs, brushes, curling irons, lotion/baby oil, hair pins, anything that may be necessary to your look. You won’t find those items at Sears Portrait Studio! 
The Set, The Shoot, The Equipment
- Your entourage. When there are too many people at the shoot, everyone wants to talk, laugh, gather around; etc. This is distracting so lets keep it the minimum. Spectators/Commentators need not be present.
- Knock a light over, touch/break anything, you pay for it…period. And believe me, I will make sure that you do.
