It was a fun Saturday afternoon at the windy Brooklyn Bridge Park with these two lol. Then sun helped with the warmth, and when everyone is a clown, things just flow so much nicer. They’re a great couple, and it shows in their photos. Next stops… their engagement party on October 23rd, followed by their wedding day on November 27th. They pretty much own me for the next 2-3 months!

I’ve had a very busy I.T. work week, so I have not been able to get into the editing “booth”. From my sister’s Sweet 16, here are three, I’ll likely wrap this up hopefully by Sunday night and post an official album.

My Sweet 16 Sis!
She use to be a little kid, now she’s 16 and the photo speaks for itself…lol. Nia stopped by this weekend to take some photos for this program we’re putting together for her Sweet 16 event occurring next month, 10.10.10. We took photos of her in a dress/gown, but the pink shirt was her outfit to/from the shoot and was unplanned. Came out pretty cool I think!
I e-mailed all the photos, now it’s her job to choose ONE for the program to be designed (along with a co-sign from mommy dearest!). Pays to have your brother as your photographer…haha.
Yes, You Would See Me Cry…
I’ve seen this video a million times, mainly because of friends (Thanks!) and each time I see it, it is just a jaw-dropping and a painful experience to watch.
Why you ask? The Camera Gear! The Camera Gear! The Camera Gear! I think I would seriously start crying (after everything is out of the water, myself included, and CF cards pulled); perform a “walk of shame” to the ZipCar for the extra change of clothes, all while dumping any photos to the laptop. My day would be over. Perhaps I should start saving for a 3rd body (5DMkII) and throw in a snazzy G12. After all, Mike does use Canon equipment!

Photos: Pocket Change 5th Annual BBQ
It was crazyyyyyyyy! At least 300 people came, and if you weren’t there, well there’s always next year. Packed event, I mean packed [a lot of dudes too smh lol]. Remember Heatwave? Struggling to get past people, struggling to take photos and all. I know my man “PPK-DSLR-Shooter” from Original Heads was doing his thing and may have even taken more shots of folks posing for the camera. My camera survived the pushing and shoving and may have survived the water that someone spilled on it, I caught a few, but not enough. Got lots of crowd pics, but I had a great time and I know everyone else did. Good music, good food and drinks, lovely ladies and everyone kept the peace!
The “jump out boys” came around 3am’ish to shut it down, and that was that!
For next year’s, a bigger venue is definitely needed! LETS GO! Shout outs to the PCE fam, Eflat, PardonMeDuke, Fashion Hurtz…

Heatwave 10.0 Prospect Park
Let’s just say that being at Prospect Park yesterday (18 July) was a MOVIE!!!! If you weren’t there, you missed A LOT. Good times, jokes, drinks, food, and lots of women as far as the eye could see! Folks thought I would bring out the big body camera, but I was in chill mode with the point & shoot. There were folks out there with their DSLRs and speedlites shooting away, but here are some of my little snapshots.

I’m a little late, but forgot I took this photo while I was down by Fulton street for Father’s Day (June 20) with my little girl and her mom. We all went to see The Bodies Exhibit NYC…which I absolutely loved (plug: should have stuck with going into the medical field…in my next life I guess).
But talk about soccer (futbol) mania at the Seaport! Puma City. The Human Foosball was hilarious! Check it out for events; etc.

Now, I look forward to and get excited about the New York International Auto Show like a kid in a candy store. I’m all about automobiles! Took the DSLR out for an afternoon spin while my boys had their cameras. Also ran into a buddy from the j.o.b., shout out to Tanese! Here are some photos from the show. I also have a new love (aside from Volkswagen & Audi)…the American made…2011 Chevrolet Cruze, coming Summer 2010…I know…shocking isn’t it, but all I have to say is wow. I can definitely see myself in one.
