Two Fools Strike Again
Okay okay, I know its not photography related, but I was laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. Mr. Fashion Hurtz and Phever attended a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk with several of our lovely lady friends (LOL) of the Struggles Corp, and like I said before, “there’s never a dull moment.” Mr. FH is behind the camera, that guy named Phever is making another comical debut. I wasn’t there for this event, but this was hilarious!

Decisions, Decisions
Seriously, I haven’t been slacking…
Hey folks, I know I have not posted any new photos in a little while, but I reassure you that I haven’t been slacking. Just busy with work, personal life, and still editing some wonderful photos from Marc & Johanna’s wedding. Also, every time I want to bring the camera and gadgets out, it rains!!! I don’t know about you, but I’m not standing in the rain (even it if rains for 10 minutes) with my camera and lenses. Me getting wet?: no problem. Camera/lenses: absolutely not.
Anyway, more photos to come. I plan to get out and shoot the New York City Waterfalls, and if I get a good spot, the Macy*s Fireworks Spectacular on July 4th. Stay tuned.

Just decided to take this shot, and post it. Idea taken from my boy Mr. Brown and a blog post of his called Food & Mantra. This shot just lacks his finished plate of food. What up G O A T?!?!?!
Write Down Your Thoughts
I bought one of the Moleskine journals back in March, and I’ll just say that it is something everyone should keep in their back pocket, purse, handbag; etc. I use mine to write down creative ideas & visions I may get for a shoot, plans for a shoot, something my eye caught on these New York streets, and maybe some personal writing. Can’t do everything on the Blackberry (you know what I mean), and I can’t remember everything.
It’s just perfect! (and cheap). Buy one.
Where Are Your Photos?
Q: Where are all your photos?
A: As I’ve grown, I look at some of the things, and people I’ve photographed over the last 2+ years with my Rebel XT, and although they are still photographs, I am no longer impressed with them. For example, it’s like buying a new car and you still have your older car which has gotten you from point A to point B to point C and back countless times, but the look and feel of your new vehicle overrides it all. So what happens to your old ride, huh? You sell it/scrap it/donate it/ignore it . So, you’ll see some old, but definitely more of “new.”
Q: What’s your motivation?
A: Just being successful, and continue to show that a person can do anything and succeed once he/she puts his/her mind to it, and commits to it. My other concrete motivation is my daughter Samantha.
